IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

Batch Plant Operator X2 Ref: 022/2025

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum requirements and skills:

• Competency Certificate
• At least two years’ experience in operating batch plant
• Grade 12 educational certificate
• Legal Liability – Advantageous
• Valid First aid Certificate – Advantageous
• Communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Computer literacy

Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring the machinery in a concrete batching plant.
• Ensuring the correct mix of ingredients (cement, sand, aggregate, water, admixtures) are combined to produce concrete according to specified quality standards.
• Co-ordinate all operations of the batch plant including managing TMM operators and standards.
