IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanized state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for project development.

Tyre Fitter x 2 REF: LEB-IVP-2601

Are you an experienced Tyre Fitter with a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail? Lebili (Pty) Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

·       Grade 12 (Matric)

·       Valid Code 08 Driver's Licence

·       Minimum 1 year's tyre fitting experience

·       Basic MS Word and Excel skills ✔ Strong commitment to workplace safety

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

·       On the job training will be provided as well as formal training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·       Remove damaged and scrapped tyres from machinery and vehicles.

·       Fit and replace new tyres according to company standards.

·       Monitor and maintain correct tyre pressures.

·       Conduct tread depth inspections and record measurements.

·       Capture all tyre movements on tyre change documentation.

·       Ensure correct tyre matching by size, tread pattern, and condition.

·       Torque wheel positions according to specification.

·       Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

·       Adhere to all company Health & Safety procedures and SOPs.
