IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to  develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

·       Responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and financial performance of a drilling team.

·       Lead the drilling team to execute drilling projects effectively and safely.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

·       Grade 12

EXPERIENCE:

·       Underground Supervisor experience 3-5 years

·       Computer Literate (MS Word Packages)

·       KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

·       Communicate Effectively with the team.

·       Willing to work continuous operation shifts and overtime as and when required.

·       Must be medically fit and willing or able to work on extreme heights.

·       Good problem-solving abilities.
