INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to  develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

                       PLANNED MAINTENANCE OFFICER X 1 REF: (IVP-ENG- 2436)

 Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

·       Grade 12

·       BT2 in technical field (Maintenance, Electrical, mechanical…)

·       National Certificate: Generic Management Level 3

·       Valid drivers’ license (EB)

·       Computer and writing Skills

·       Read and understand Drawings

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

·       At least 1 years’ experience in Maintenance Planning

·       Experience on doing Maintenance Planning and scheduling.

     The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·       environment to on-site maintenance personnel, ensuring planned maintenance and servicing of

 site mobile equipment is carried out efficiently, timeously and safely.

·       Identify task required for each job.

·       Identify Resources and materials required for each job.

·       Prepares Equipment specific documentation (special assemble instructions, past modifications, data sheet, calibration requirements of manufactures design information).

·       Ensure all mechanical faults on equipment are promptly reported.

·       Ensure parts and components are available for planned work to limit downtime.

·       Identify critical spares and maintain stock levels accordingly.

·       Assembles Complete Work pack.

·       Confirm with the maintenance systems coordinator and OEM” s on any technical problems or maintenance policies and procedures.

·       Ensure record keeping of statutory equipment and plant is maintained and kept up to date.

·       Ensure monthly workshop audits are conducted and recorded.

·       Ensure working area is compliant to all OHSA standards.
