Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12

• Trade Diesel Mechanic or Trade Fitter or Trade Electrician Certificate

• Familiar with mining process and maintenance requirements of related equipment and structures

• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Computer-literate in Microsoft Office Suite

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

• 8–10 years’ working experience

• Extensive TMM and Underground Machinery

• Extensive post-trade qualified experience

• Extensive knowledge of mining operations

• Planned Maintenance

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Engineering maintenance and installation

• Supervision and skills transfer

• Standards and legal compliance

• Safety, health and environment
