ABB South Africa provides leading power and automation technologies, operating three local manufacturing sites and a major microgrid-powered campus. The subsidiary supports local industries through electrification, robotics, and motion control systems. ABB is currently busy with a project at IVP on Shaft 2 and is looking for Construction Boilermakers.
CONSTRUCTION ELECTRICIANS REF: ABB-IVP-2602
Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
· Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
· Good communication skills
· The ability to work under pressur
· Medically fit
· Trustworthy and be able to work in a team
· Recognised Trade Test / Red Seal Section 13 – Section 26 (d).
· Proven mining or heavy industrial construction experience.
· Medically fit to work on mining sites.

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
· Ability to read, write and communicate in English
· Basic understanding of Lamproom Equipment, tools etc
· Must be a Local person with a relevant Proof of Residential Adress
· Good Computer skills (Microsoft package)
· Mining Electrical construction.
· MV & LV cable installations.
· MV & LV jointing and terminations.
· Switchgear, MCCs and transformers.
· Fibre optic and communication cable installations.
· Testing, commissioning and fault finding.
· C1 & C2 Certification.
· Redlining of drawings
