IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to  develop this “mine of the future”. Suitably qualified and experienced candidates are invited to apply for the following vacancies required for the project development.

HR ASSISTANT (TEMP) X 2 REF: IVP-HR-2601

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

·       Grade 12

·       HR Diploma

·       MS Office experience and knowledge

·       Administration certificate

·       Computer literate

·       Experience in Contractor Management section will be advantageous.

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

·       3 years’ experience in recruitment/Labour management 

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

·       Provide HR administration support to HR Supervisor

·       Onboarding and Offboarding of contractors

·       Prepare notices and advertisements for contractors’ vacant positions

·       Organize contractors’ interviews

·       Participate in applicant interviews

·       Conduct reference checks on possible candidate

·       Report on deviations to the HR Officer with regard to Recruitment and On-boarding.

·       Preparing documentation for medical bookings including daily collection of medicals from the Dr and distribute such to relevant contractors.

·       Capturing of employees on HR systems and ensuring proper maintenance of the systems.

·       Inspect employee files before processing on HR systems.

·       Ensure own safety and the safety of others around area of responsibility.

·       Perform other related duties as required from time to time.
